Joe McNalley scored big for Hurricanes throwing for three touchdowns.

Hurricanes beat Beavers 32 to 7 at Ellerslie Rugby Park on Wednesday. Both teams were scoreless in the first quarter. Both defenses held strong to shut down scoring in the second quarter. The defensive shutout also continued through the 3rd quarter. In the final quarter, with defenses wearing down, Hurricanes outscored Beavers 32 to 7 and took the lead to claim the late win.

The Hurricanes defense contributed to the victory. They picked off Beavers three times.

Hurricanes moves to a record of 2-0. Beavers suffered their first loss and ended the game with a record of 1 win and 1 loss.
