Trevor Frost led the winning effort for Clones, throwing three touchdowns.

Clones defeated WolfPack 20 to 14 at Ellerslie Rugby Park on Sunday. Neither team scored in the first quarter. Both teams also came up blank in the 2nd quarter. Neither offense could find a way score in the 3rd quarter either. In the final quarter, the offenses finally got going when Clones outscored WolfPack 20 to 14 and took the lead to claim the late win.

The Clones defense contributed to the victory. They picked off WolfPack four times.

WolfPack suffered their first loss and finished the game with a record of 1 win and 1 loss.
