Rick Pitcher was a key factor in Crush's win connecting in the air for four touchdowns.

Crush triumphed over Aces 33 to 19 at Ellerslie Rugby Park on Sunday. Neither team managed to get on the scoreboard in the first quarter. With no one scoring in the second quarter both defenses were solid. Both offenses remained unproductive against the superb defenses the 3rd quarter as well. In the last quarter, with defenses wearing down, Crush outscored their opponents by 14 points and took the lead to claim the late win.
