Chargers overcame Nasty Boyz 28 to 18 at Ellerslie Rugby Park on Tuesday. Both teams were scoreless in the first quarter. The second quarter also saw no scoring. Neither offense could find a way score in the 3rd quarter either. In the fourth quarter, the ice was finally broken when Chargers outscored Nasty Boyz 28 to 18 and took the lead to claim the late win.

The Chargers defense contributed to the victory. They picked off Nasty Boyz five times.
