Beavers won against 9ers 45 to 20 at Ellerslie Rugby Park on Tuesday. Neither team managed to score in the first quarter. No one scored in the second quarter either. Both offenses remained unproductive against the superb defenses the 3rd quarter as well. In the fourth quarter, the offenses finally got going when Beavers outscored 9ers 45 to 20 and took the lead to claim the late win.

The Beavers defense contributed to the victory, and kept the pressure up with four sacks. They picked off 9ers once.

Beavers ended their streak of 2 losing games and improved to a record of 2-2. 9ers finished the game with a record of 1 win and 2 losses.
