Broncos prevailed over Clones 18 to 13 at Ellerslie Rugby Park on Sunday. Neither team managed to get on the scoreboard in the first quarter. With no one scoring in the second quarter both defenses were solid. Both offenses remained unproductive against the superb defenses the 3rd quarter as well. In the fourth quarter, the ice was finally broken when Broncos outscored Clones 18 to 13 and took the lead to claim the late win.

The Broncos defense contributed to the victory, and kept the pressure up with one sack. They picked off Clones four times.

Broncos ended their streak of 2 losing games and improved to a record of 1 and 2. Clones finished the game with a record of 2 wins and 2 losses.
