Hurricanes defeated Ravens 21 to 6 at Ellerslie Rugby Park on Tuesday. Neither team managed to score in the first quarter. No one scored in the second quarter either. Both offenses continued to be totally shut down by strong defense in the 3rd quarter. In the last quarter, with defenses wearing down, Hurricanes outscored their opponents by 15 points and took the lead to claim the late win.

Hurricanes added to their current win streak of 4 games and ended up with a unblemished record of 5-0. Ravens suffered their first loss and finished the game with a record of 3-1.
