Joy Frost led Gophers to victory throwing for three touchdowns.

Shutting out their opponents, Gophers prevailed against Jaguars 28 to 0 at ERP on Monday. Neither team managed to get on the scoreboard in the first quarter. The second quarter also saw no scoring. Both offenses continued to be totally shut down by strong defense in the 3rd quarter. Gophers broke the ice with 28 points in the fourth quarter to finally win the game.

The Gophers defense contributed to the victory, and kept the pressure up with two sacks. They picked off Jaguars 7 times.

Gophers ended their streak of 4 losing games and ended the game with a record of 5 and 9. Jaguars ended the game with a record of 0-14.
