Hurricanes won against Clones 40 to 21 at Nor'Westers 2 on Sunday. Neither team managed to get on the scoreboard in the first quarter. Both teams also came up blank in the 2nd quarter. The defensive shutout also continued through the 3rd quarter. In the fourth quarter, the ice was finally broken when Hurricanes outscored their opponents by 19 points and took the lead to claim the late win.

Hurricanes ended their losing streak of 2 games and improved to a record of 10-6. Clones finished the game with a record of 8-8.
