In a lopsided victory, Hornets handed a loss to Beavers 44 to 13 at Confederation Park on Saturday. Both teams were scoreless in the first quarter. Both teams also came up blank in the 2nd quarter. The game remained scoreless going into the fourth quarter as the defensive battle wore on. In the final quarter, the ice was finally broken when Hornets scored 44 points to Beavers's 13 and took the lead to claim the late win.
