INDOOR GAMES POSTPONED **UPDATED January 27, 2021**

Jan. 27/ 21 - UPDATE - Our chances of playing again this winter are growing slimmer. We received notice today that Commonwealth has cancelled our field bookings up to & including February 7. We have looked at our remaining bookings, and if we are able to resume play on February 20, we can still get a few more games to make a decent season and still have playoffs. That said. We have set a drop dead date of February 15. If we are not able to resume play on February 20 as noted above, we will unfortunately be cancelling the remainder of the indoor season.

We have just received notice from Commonwealth that we will be unable to use the fieldhouse. That means we will be shutdown for another three weeks. We hope to re-start in January 2021.

Teams & Individuals Wanted!!

Registration for the upcoming indoor season is now closed. But we are we're looking for teams and individuals for the outdoor season which will begin in May 2021. Anyone interested in entering a team, or if you're looking for a team to play on contact Conrad at conrad@etfa.ab.ca

ETFA: Response to novel coronavirus (COVID-19)

Due to the ongoing Coronavirus/COVID-19 situation. The remainder of the indoor season is postponed & may be cancelled altogether.

The upcoming outdoor season, which was tentatively scheduled to begin on May 11 will most assuredly be delayed.

That said. The Executive have once again secured the fields at Ellerslie and are prepared to run an abbreviated season,  if possible once the current situation is alleviated, & our lives return to some form of normalcy.

Stay safe! Stay healthy! This will be a long fight. But hopefully we'll see everyone back on the fields in the near future.

Referee's Needed!

We need new officials!!!!!!

The ETFA is always looking for people that may be interested in joining our officiating ranks. If you love the game of  touch football, becoming a referee is a great way to learn more about the rules, with the added bonus of making a few dollars as well.

Anyone interested, please email conrad@etfa.ab.ca
