Edmonton, AB – Football fans won’t have to wait until spring to hit the turf. The Edmonton Touch Football Association (ETFA) has officially announced its upcoming indoor season, set to run from October 18, 2025, through March 2026 at the Commonwealth Recreation Centre’s state-of-the-art indoor turf facility.

The indoor season has become a highlight for players looking to stay active and competitive through Edmonton’s long winter months. Games take place on the Commonwealth Recreation Centre’s half-sized turf field, providing athletes with an authentic football experience in a climate-controlled environment. The space is divided into playing fields to accommodate multiple games at once, and its professional-grade surface ensures fast-paced, high-energy action week after week.

ETFA games are known for their mix of competitiveness and community spirit. Players range from long-time league veterans to newcomers trying out organized touch football for the first time. The league offers a unique atmosphere where teams can enjoy friendly rivalries while still focusing on skill-building, teamwork, and fun.

For individuals who don’t yet have a team but still want to play, ETFA has announced plans to assemble a league-sponsored team. This provides an excellent opportunity for newcomers to meet other players, get a feel for the game, and be part of the community. Interested players should also reach out to Randy directly.
